Theologie

The Master's degree program in Theology offers an in-depth examination of current ethical challenges, the historical background of contemporary theology, various Christian doctrines and philosophies, original biblical texts and their interpretation and history of impact, as well as the theory of church practice and contemporary religious culture.
At the Faculty of Theology in Basel, studies are strongly characterized by ecumenical and interreligious openness and by a broad external perspective on religion and social sciences. The areas of “Jewish Studies” and “Intercultural Theology” are unique to Basel and underline this approach.
