Eucor – The European Campus
Eucor- The European Campus is a cross-border association of five French, German and Swiss universities in the Upper Rhine region. Students holding a student ID with the Eucor-Logo (new: from spring term 2017 onwards) can attend classes and use the libraries and other facilities at the universities in Basel, Freiburg, Strasbourg, Mulhouse/Colmar and Karlsruhe. Students who regularly attend classes at a Eucor-affiliated university during the semester receive a commuting allowance.
Not only BA/MA students benefit from the European Campus: In addition to the lectures, courses of the interdisciplinary competences for doctoral students/postdocs are in principle open among the European Campus partner universities. Mobility at the European Campus also applies to all staff members of the partner universities, i.e. free advanced training courses can be attended with reimbursement of the usual travel allowances. Registrations can be made directly with the offering units.
The Eucor alliance includes the following universities:
- University of Basel
- Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg
- University of Strasbourg
- University of Upper Alsace
- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
Students remain enrolled at their home university and do not pay tuition fees at the guest university. They can attend one or more classes, study abroad at the partner university, complete additional interdisciplinary modules and receive ECTS credits. For more information visit the Eucor website:
