Apart from the career counseling sessions, the Career Service Center (CSC) also offers events and workshops dealing with job-related interdisciplinary skills as well as MEET&CONNECT workshops and MEET&CONNECT panel discussions for (PhD) students and graduates at the University of Basel.
Please note that our events are generally held in German.
Long Night of Careers
The Long Night of Careers is a joint event organized by the Career Services of Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. Students can spend an entire evening thinking about their professional future and benefit from a varied and interactive program. This year's LNdK will take place on Thursday, November 07, 2024 from 17:00 - 21:00 in the Kollegienhaus of the University of Basel!

MEET&CONNECT
The umbrella brand MEET&CONNECT encompasses all the CSC events of the University of Basel which bring students and companies together.
MEET&CONNECT Workshops
These special workshops help prepare students and PhD candidates for the change from the academical environment to the professional world. The MEET&CONNECT Workshops are conducted in collaboration with companies, whose HR-specialists act as speakers.
MEET&CONNECT Podium
The MEET&CONNECT Podium is the CSC label for panel discussions with various representatives from the business world and academia. The main focus lies on the requirements employers, respecitvely the professional world, pose on career entrants with an academic education.
