Doctoral students and postdocs

Eucor aims to promote skill development, networking and dialog among early career researchers in the Upper Rhine. Doctoral students and postdocs employed by the University of Basel who wish to offer innovative courses at master’s or doctoral level in collaboration with teaching staff from at least one Eucor partner university can apply for a “Crossborder Education Grant” from the University of Basel of up to CHF 4,000 per project. The call for applications usually begins in early April and runs until the end of June. In addition to funding, doctoral students and postdocs also have access to various bi-national and tri-national research networks and projects, interdisciplinary courses, cultural activities and services offered by Eucor partner universities. Doctoral students also have the option of obtaining a bi-national doctorate and attending a cross-border doctoral college. More information can be found on the Eucor website.
