Collaborations with Private Sector
Implementation of Personalized Health requires fruitful collaborations with industry and private sector as well as a culture of innovative entrepreneurship and Basel offers a unique ecosystem in this realm.
Together with Innovation Office of the University of Basel and in collaboration with Interpharma we have initiated a series of joint workshops to foster 'data ecosystem’ collaborations and pilot projects between researchers of the University and University Hospital of Basel and the Pharma industry with the goal of promote Industry-Academia partnerships/collaborations and pilot projects (scientific or clinical projects) and enable and foster innovation and systemic societal impact.
In parallel Bram Stieltjes (PHB Chair) and his team at the University Hospital of Basel have long-lasting collaborations with the private sector in the field of data infrastructure, interface and analysis in the clinical setting.
PHB always looks for opportunity to expand and foster the collaborative efforts between University of Basel, University Hospital Basel and the private sector in the field of data ecosystem and personalized health.
