Financial Assets Committee
The Financial Assets Committee is responsible for implementing the investment policies approved by the University Council. The committee appoints the Portfolio Manager and governs their activities through administrative mandates.
Tasks
In addition to compliance with investment guidelines, the main task of the Financial Assets Committee is to monitor investment performance. The committee typically meets on a quarterly basis (or as required in special cases), assesses the performance of the Portfolio Manager, periodically reports to the University Council and prepares an annual report on its activities.
The Financial Assets Committee was established by the University Council in 2003 and comprises the President, three to four members and the Chief Officer of the university's Finances Department in the function of secretary of the Financial Assets Committee.
