Data Protection Officer
The demands on researchers when dealing with data are increasing and the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also raises new questions. In order to meet these needs, the University of Basel has appointed a Data Protection Officer. Danielle Kaufmann takes care of all aspects of data protection at the University of Basel, including the support of researchers in questions regarding the handling of personal data. In addition to the services provided by the Data Management team (researchdata.unibas.ch), this provides a comprehensive range of services to support researchers in terms of data management.
