Versatile commencement program

On Monday, 16 September 2024, the university management will welcome new students at the commencement ceremony in Theater Basel. Following this, first-semester students can explore university services and student organizations at the information market in the Kollegienhaus.

To ensure that the start of their studies goes as smoothly as possible, the university also offers an exciting program with plenty of helpful information for all first-year students during the first week of the semester from 18 to 22 September under the motto "Start Smart." Lectures, guided tours, and events will provide insight into university life and allow first-semester students to make new contacts.

The full program is available on the Start Smart Week website.
