The re-election of Thomas Grob as Vice President for Education was not just undisputed, but also a clear reflection of the high esteem in which he is held by his teams and the university’s various committees. The unanimous and unreserved expression of support for a further term of office is a testament to his effective leadership.

Since 2017, Thomas Grob has managed the Vice President’s Office for Education with prudence, setting various priorities. His cooperation with the deans of studies is characterized by collegiality and great mutual appreciation, according to the proposal to the Senate. Thomas Grob’s quick and competent responses to concerns from the faculties or departments demonstrate his commitment to ensuring all voices are heard. His flexibility is also greatly appreciated.

The re-election of Prof. Thomas Grob for a third term ensures that the upcoming resignations from the President’s Office in the coming years will be staggered: that of the President at the end of the spring semester 2027, that of the Vice President for Research at the end of the spring semester 2028, and that of the Vice President for Education at the end of the spring semester 2029.
