Engaging Courses

The university needs lecturers who inspire and motivate students. Nominations may be submitted for lecturers who connect to a wide variety of students and create a welcoming learning environment.

Further criteria:

• The awardee creates a discrimination-free and appreciative learning environment through inclusive language, achievable learning objectives, and a conscious approach to power dynamics.
• supports the learning success of students from diverse backgrounds.
• welcomes all students and encourages interaction with and among participants on an equal footing.
• Varied teaching methods sustain participation and motivation.
• A clear structure guides students throughout the semester.
• The assessments support learning success, and grading is based on fair and transparent criteria.
