Supporting Learning

Certain courses—tutorials, practicals, exercises, proseminars, etc.—support students in their learning process. Nominations may be submitted for teaching assistants and students who meet learners at their current level, building bridges to subject matter and fellow students.

Further criteria:

• The awardee is approachable and able to adapt their teaching according to the situation.
• demonstrates enthusiasm and is committed to students’ individual learning success.
• identifies and addresses students’ needs.
• shows commitment in class and conveys their passion to students.
• ensures clarity and transparency regarding learning content, deadlines, etc.
• is accessible to students and responds within a reasonable timeframe.
• is open to feedback, motivated to provide feedback to students, and is capable of implementing it.
