Training Locations

In addition to the unisport centers Leonhard-Schulhaus at Leonhardsstrasse 15 and the Unisport gym at Klingelbergstrasse 61, our training locations are spread all over the city and the neighboring towns.

Access control is provided by an external security firm.

We draw the attention of all participants to the fact that entry is only possible with a valid student ID, employee ID/visitors’ pass for the University of Basel or a sports ID for the corresponding semester (including semester break).

The unisport program is an attractive sports and exercise program which the university makes available exclusively to those eligible to participate.

For security reasons, capacity is limited for certain sports halls. The trainers are authorized to refuse entry to the hall when the maximum limit has been reached.

We recommend that you take all valuables into the sports halls with you. In the event of theft, we recommend that you report the offence to the police immediately (possible at any police station). University Sports assumes no liability.

If you have left personal items in Leonhard-Schulhaus, please contact the caretaker, Mr Gomm (tel: 061 267 55 10).

We request that all participants wear only INDOOR sports shoes in the sports halls (no black soles). Outdoor footwear should not be worn.
