Attend or Participate: TEDxBasel 2018
TEDxBasel, a regional annual conference for inspiring ideas, will bring together leading thinkers, social entrepreneurs and change makers from the Basel region on May 26. We are giving away ten free tickets for the event at Musical Theater Basel.
27 March 2018
TEDxBasel is a locally self-organized branch of the international platform devoted to spreading ideas from a wide range of fields including Design, Science, Sports, Technology and Leadership. At TEDxBasel, people from all walks of life present their ideas and talents during a maximum of 18 minutes, making this event a laboratory of inspiration.
Among this year’s roster of speakers is Prisca Liberali, Assistant Professor at the University of Basel. She will present her groundbreaking research at the Friedrich Miescher Institute on Organoids and how these self-organized stem cell systems can potentially provide insights into reprogramming and diseases as never before.
In addition to the live talks, TEDxBasel2018 will feature the initiative Popup Talk that gives conference attendees the opportunity to sign-up to give a short three minute Popup talk sharing their ideas. The best talk will be selected by fellow audience members to go onstage to be presented alongside the official roster of TEDxBasel speakers.
For the first time, TEDxBasel is offering a special discounted ticket to those aged 26 and under so that younger fans are equally able to attend or participate. Furthermore, the Department of Communications & Marketing from the University of Basel is giving away ten free tickets, five for students, another five for faculty and staff. To participate in the lottery, submit your application by April 4, 2018. Win a ticket
