New adjunct professorships und lecturers
The University Council appointed four adjunct professors, and six people were awarded the Venia docendi by the Senate.

The University Council has approved the decision by the Senate to appoint the following adjunct professorships:
Faculty of Medicine
- PD Dr. David Benninger for neurology (with simultaneous “Umhabilitation”, transfer of authorization to teach)
- PD Dr. Thomas Connert for restorative dentistry and periodontology
- PhD PD Anna Marsano for experimental medicine
Faculty of Science
- PD Dr. Sarah Jane Moore for epidemiology
Venia docendi
At the request of two faculties, the Senate awarded the degree of Dr. habil. and the Venia docendi to four persons by circular procedure.
Faculty of Medicine
- Dr. Michael Büttcher for paediatrics and adolescent medicine
- Dr. Simona Negoias for otorhinolaryngology
- Dr. Caroline Wehmeier for transplantation immunology and nephrology
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Dr. Vincenzo Vitale for Italian literary studies
In addition, at the request of the Faculty of Medicine, the Senate awarded the Venia docendi to Dr. Nicholas Sanderson for experimental medicine.
