Eligibility

Former students with a degree from the University of Basel are entitled to participate with the "Sports ID RED Alumni".

Note on the use of the University gym: Graduates of the University of Basel who only wish to use the Unisport gym do not require a "Sports ID RED Alumni". They can request confirmation for the purchase of an "Alumni membership with Unisport confirmation" from the University Sports Office by sending in their degree certificate. The Unisport confirmation must be presented at the gym when purchasing an "Alumni membership with Unisport confirmation" for the first time. For a subsequently acquired "Sports ID RED Alumni", there is no reduction on a gym membership already purchased.

How to apply for a "Sports ID RED Alumni"

• The "Sports ID RED Alumni" can be obtained for each semester at the University Sports Office upon presentation of a degree from the University of Basel (Bachelor, Master, Licentiate, Dissertation or Postgraduate Studies DAS/MAS). Membership of the Alumni Association is not sufficient.
  Alternatively, the sports ID can be applied for by email to unisport@unibas.ch. The degree from the University of Basel (scan), current contact details and a passport photo (only for first-time applications) must be enclosed with the application.

Registration

Holders of a valid "Sports ID RED Alumni" can register for courses online. When registering online, the "LOGIN ÜBRIGE" button, the email address entered during registration and the unisport password must be used. The unisport password can be requested during online registration.
